Chor Minar Madrasah

 Hello everyone☺️☺️

Today, we, students of the 4XTA-21 group, came to the Chor Minor madrasah to carry out an active practice. Our classmates Shahlola and Maftuna informed us about this mosque. They also explained in detail the legend of the mosque and why it has four minarets.

Chor Minor (Char Minar Uzbek: Chor minor), alternatively known as the Madrasah of Khalif Niyaz-kul, is a historic gatehouse for a now-destroyed madrasa in the historic city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. It is located in a lane northeast of the Lyab-i Hauz complex. It is protected as a cultural heritage monument, and also it is a part of the World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Bukhara.[1] In Persian, the name of the monument means "four minarets", referring to the building's four towers.

The structure was built by Khalif Niyaz-kul, a wealthy Bukharan of Turkmen origin in 1807 under the rule of the Manghit dynasty.[2] The four towered structure is sometimes mistaken for a gate to the madras that once existed behind the structure, however, the Char-Minar is actually a complex of buildings with two functions, ritual and shelter. Originally, it was a part of a complex of a madrasa, which was demolished.[3] The building has no analogs in the architecture of Bukhara, and the inspiration and motives of Niyazkul are unclear.

Thank you for your attention!!! 🙂🙂💐💐

Piridastgir mosque 🕌.
Hello Everyone ☺️☺️.
Today we came to the Piridastgir mosque together with our fellow students to start the second day of our active practice. Our classmates Dilnoza and Aziza gave us very interesting information about the Piridastgir mosque.

The country yard of mosque is wide and can accommodate more than a thousand worshippers.Restroom is on the left from the mosque.Interior of the mosque is specious and comfortable. You can easily pray in summer and winter like today. There is also minaret but it is mostly closed.

This mosque is built for Abdul Qadir Jilani who was a great Sufi. He was born in 1079. He spent his early life in Gilan, the town of his birth, where was in Iran. In 1095 at the age of 17 he went to Baghdad to study and came to Bukhara in order to spreading Qaddiriya tariqa of Sufism.

Our trip today was very interesting and wonderful. Thank you for your attention!!!💐💐
